fabric on a stick!

Had family time today. Drove out to Walnut Creek, LM arranged to have Marvin bring Grandma to Saigon Bistro for lunch (I was supposed to be a surprise but Marvin accidentally blurted it out), had a fun lunch (and when isn't pho ga a good time?) with Grandma and said our goodbyes. BD, LM and I then took a detour to Frys (because EVERY day is FRY'S-day!), and had fun wandering the aisles. BD almost bought a new phone, a fancy-schmancy droid with the biggest screen possible (everyone weigh in now!) and then we wandered to a local fabric store with super cheap fabric, rolls and rolls EVERYWHERE!!!! LM got a $5 blanket and some fabric to make something. On the walk back to the car we discussed fabric on sticks and zen thought processes (up is down, in is out, etc.)
And then we went home. And if we weren't already having enough fun - I did laundry. Woot! And then I set up my mom's blog and taught her to use it. It was a little more exciting than I had hoped (love you LM!) and it got done. Even set up AND taught her to post from her cell.
Check it out folks:
If you need a little more serenity in your life - go there. Her goal is to post daily. Add her and encourage her.
